Football Operations and Analytics Coordinator

Job Summary

The Commonwealth of Virginia is seeking an experienced Operations and Analytics Coordinator to join the Football program. This role will assist the Director of Football Operations, Chief of Staff & Head Football Coach in overseeing the football program's daily operations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and foster relationships with coaches, student-athletes, Virginia Tech Athletics department personnel, University staff, and external units.
  • Represent the football program within the Virginia Tech Athletics department, the Atlantic Coast Conference, and the National Collegiate Athletic Association.
  • Adhere to all department and University policies and procedures, as well as the rules, regulations, bylaws, and interpretations of the ACC and NCAA.

Requirements

  • Advanced computer skills.
  • Good communication, organization, and time management skills.
  • Division I experience in football as a student-athlete, staff member, or former coach.
  • Familiarity with a collegiate football coaching atmosphere, including terminology.
  • Working knowledge of NCAA rules as they pertain to football team travel, official and unofficial recruiting visits, and recruiting of football student-athletes.
  • Commitment to diversity.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in a Division I Power 4 collegiate athletics football program.
  • Working knowledge of ARMS or similar recruiting software.
  • Bachelor's degree with related experience in athletics administration.
