Position Overview: This role is pivotal in cultivating and sustaining partnerships with clients for designated products to fulfill the organization’s goals.

  • Individual Contributor Role: This position functions independently without direct reports.
  • Product Demonstration: Showcase products and articulate the company's strengths to prospective clients.
  • Business Development: Foster relationships with both new and existing clients, engaging with key decision-makers.
  • Sales Projections: Assist management in formulating sales forecasts, inventory assessments, and procurement strategies to achieve set targets.
  • Documentation Maintenance: Keep organized files, records, and other documents generated throughout the business development cycle for management review.
  • Reporting: Compile a variety of standard and custom reports for management to assess progress towards objectives and identify growth opportunities.
  • Safety Compliance: This role entails understanding and implementing relevant safety protocols, achieved through education, training, and adherence to safety policies and regulations.
  • Additional Responsibilities: Perform other tasks as assigned.

Required Skills:
  • 3-5 years of experience in a related field is preferred.
  • Solid understanding of customer relationship management principles.
  • Strong financial acumen is essential.
  • Excellent critical thinking and problem-solving abilities.
  • High proficiency in written and verbal communication, organizational planning, teamwork, analytical reasoning, and adaptability.
  • Experience in the food or co-manufacturing sector is advantageous.
  • Ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing, with customers and all levels of management.
  • Proficiency in the Microsoft Office suite is required.
  • A Bachelor’s degree or equivalent is preferred.
  • Work is typically conducted in a professional office environment with standard office equipment.
  • Typical work conditions are consistent with an office setting.
  • This role requires over 30% domestic travel.
  • Physical demands may include lifting up to 15 pounds.
  • Frequent or infrequent physical activities may include bending, squatting, pushing, pulling, reaching, and standing/walking on concrete flooring.
  • Ability to stand or walk for less than 4 hours may be required.
