Job Summary

Key Responsibilities
  • Financial Statement Preparation: Assist in the preparation of financial statements and statistical reports as required, ensuring accuracy and completeness of financial information.
  • Account Reconciliations: Maintain inventory month-end reconciliations and commission reporting, including freight, duty, and other components of the inventory cycle.
  • Financial Audit Support: Assist in the financial statement audit process as required, including preparation of audit workpapers.
  • Accounting Procedures: Assist in the development and compliance of accounting procedures, systems, and practices; propose and implement process improvements for areas of responsibility.
  • Ad Hoc Reporting: Provide ad hoc reporting for management and operations, ensuring timely and accurate delivery of financial information.
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in accounting with a minimum of 4 years of relevant experience.
  • Technical Skills: Advanced Excel skills, working knowledge of GAAP, and experience with consumer goods inventories.
  • Soft Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and ability to work effectively in a team environment.
