Position Overview

We are actively seeking a full-time SALES MANAGER to excel in outside sales within the automotive sector. This role is crucial for generating new business prospects and nurturing client relationships. The ideal candidate will possess a robust understanding of automotive dealerships and demonstrate proficiency in both acquiring new clients and enhancing existing accounts.

Key Responsibilities:

Business Development

  • Identify and generate leads through various channels, including cold outreach, email, and networking.
  • Utilize existing data to pinpoint key contacts and relevant account information.
  • Establish and cultivate relationships with potential clients.
  • Develop qualified sales opportunities.
  • Conduct research on target accounts to create tailored strategies.
  • Collaborate with team members in a dynamic environment.
  • Prepare and deliver impactful sales presentations, primarily via virtual meetings.
  • Oversee the entire sales process and document activities in our CRM system.
  • Secure new business deals.

Client Engagement and Relationship Management

  • Build and sustain strong, long-term relationships with clients by understanding their advertising needs and providing customized solutions.
  • Act as the primary account executive for new business, managing all facets of the client relationship from initial contact to ongoing support.

Sales Strategy and Execution

  • Formulate and implement sales strategies to achieve or surpass revenue targets.
  • Collaborate with the executive team to create compelling proposals and presentations.
  • Prepare and present sales reports and performance metrics to senior management.

Collaboration and Teamwork

  • Work closely with internal teams, including creative and account management, to ensure a seamless client experience.
  • Provide insights and feedback to internal teams to enhance service offerings and client satisfaction.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, communications, or a related field; or equivalent experience with 10+ years in a relevant position.
  • Experience in selling digital media products, particularly in the automotive sector.
  • Strategic understanding of programmatic media planning and sales.
  • Experience working with advertising agencies or in a similar capacity.
  • Proven track record in a hunter and farmer sales model, consistently meeting or exceeding sales goals.
  • Strong knowledge of automotive dealerships and their advertising requirements.
  • Ability to leverage marketing strategies to enhance dealership brand awareness and drive sales.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Highly motivated, proactive, and results-driven.
