Job Title: Inventory Specialist

At Dolores Street Community Services, we are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Inventory Specialist to join our team. As an Inventory Specialist, you will be responsible for maintaining accurate inventory records, managing stock levels, and ensuring efficiency for our office and programs' operations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct regular inventory counts and audits to ensure accuracy.
  • Record and track stock levels, reorder points, and item usage.
  • Update inventory management systems or tracking records with accurate data.
  • Monitor and report discrepancies between physical counts and inventory records.
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent; additional education or certification in inventory management is a plus.
  • Previous experience in inventory management, warehousing, or a related field.
  • Familiarity with inventory management software and tools.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Bilingual in spoken and written Spanish, preferred.
  • Required work during weekends and holidays.
  • Valid state Driver's License and driving agency's car is required.
Physical Requirements:
  • Ability to lift and move items weighing up to 50 pounds regularly.
  • Prolonged periods of standing, walking, and bending.
  • Capability to climb ladders and reach overhead to access inventory.
  • Manual dexterity to handle small objects and operate equipment.
  • Good visual acuity to read labels, instructions, and to conduct inspections.
