Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Supply Chain Coordinator to join our team at Jefferson County, Colorado. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for managing our inventory, coordinating logistics, and ensuring the smooth flow of goods and services.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and maintain accurate inventory records, including tracking stock levels, monitoring inventory turnover, and identifying opportunities for cost savings.
  • Coordinate with vendors and suppliers to ensure timely delivery of goods and services, and resolve any issues that may arise.
  • Develop and implement effective inventory management systems and processes to optimize stock levels and reduce waste.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and address operational inefficiencies and implement process improvements.
  • Supervise and train inmate workers in inventory management and logistics procedures, ensuring they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their duties effectively.
  • Coordinate with county purchasing to ensure compliance with procurement policies and procedures.
  • Perform annual inventory audits and ensure accurate record-keeping of inventory being sent to auction.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; GED or high school diploma preferred.
  • Minimum one year of experience in inventory management, logistics, or a related field.
  • Strong organizational and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for long periods of time.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in business administration, supply chain management, or a related field.
  • Certifications in inventory management, logistics, or a related field.
