Job Title: Associate Planner

This well-established home brand is seeking a skilled Inventory Planner to support their Baby, Child & Teen category. As a key member of the cross-functional team, you will collaborate closely with Merchandising, Supply Chain, and Finance to develop and execute strategic inventory plans that align with our business objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Analyze historical data and current trends to identify opportunities and risks by department, subclass, and SKU.
  • Forecast sales and inventory to develop strategies that maximize opportunities and mitigate risk.
  • Lead the reconciliation of top-down to bottom-up financial plans.
  • Create and present department-level plans for the category.
  • Suggest strategies to drive sales on essential items.
  • Collaborate with Merchandising to support product strategies and vision.
  • Develop and build collection and SKU-level sales plans with supporting investment quantities and accurate flow forecasts.

Requirements:

  • 3+ years of experience in inventory planning, with supervisory and multi-channel planning experience preferred.
  • Strong analytical skills with a talent for interpreting meaningful trends from quantitative and qualitative data.
  • Maintain and build effective relationships with cross-functional team members.
  • Strong problem-solving, organizational, and critical thinking skills, with a focus on driving positive results to the bottom line.
  • Solid grasp of retail math and inventory planning concepts.
  • Advanced knowledge of Excel.
