Job Summary

CNA Insurance is seeking a highly skilled Data Analytics Director to lead our Long Term Care (LTC) business unit's data analytics efforts. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for developing and implementing data-driven strategies to drive business growth, improve operational efficiency, and enhance customer experience.

Key Responsibilities

  • Business Partnering: Collaborate with business leaders to identify key business challenges and develop data-driven solutions to drive business growth and improvement.
  • Data Engineering: Design and implement data pipelines to support business intelligence and data science initiatives, ensuring data quality, accuracy, and security.
  • Data Visualization: Develop and maintain data visualizations and reporting tools to support business decision-making and communication.
  • Data Science: Lead the development of predictive and prescriptive models to drive business growth and improvement, leveraging machine learning and statistical techniques.
  • Corporate IT Initiative Liaison: Collaborate with corporate IT teams to implement data governance, data analytics upskilling, and other initiatives to support business growth and improvement.

Requirements

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Business, Economics, Mathematics, Finance, Statistics, or related field.
  • Experience: Minimum of 10 years of experience in quantitative, analytics, data engineering, or data science roles, with a minimum of 2 years of people management experience.
  • Skills: Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with stakeholders at all levels. Experience with data engineering, data architecture, and data governance principles in a cloud environment preferred. Ability to provide direction, suggest enhancements, and ask the right questions to ensure advanced code bases and analytical analyses meet business needs.
