Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Accounting Associate to join our team at Sonic Automotive. As an Accounting Associate, you will be responsible for performing various accounting and financial tasks, including processing dealer trades, organizing paperwork, and completing end-of-month accounting reports.

Key Responsibilities
  • Process dealer trades and organize paperwork to ensure completeness and accuracy.
  • Complete end-of-month accounting reports and reconcile statements.
  • Issue purchase orders and manage cash applications.
  • Perform other accounting and financial tasks as assigned by supervisor.
Requirements
  • Dealership accounting experience required.
  • ADP experience required.
  • Competent with MS Office suite.
  • Accurate with 10-key pad and typing.
  • Self-motivated and able to prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Basic working knowledge of accounting.
  • Good interpersonal and oral communication skills.
  • Mathematical aptitude.
  • Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Knowledge of Excel and CDK Drive or Reynolds and Reynolds.
