We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented accounting professional to join our team at A-STAFFING, INC. as a Junior Accountant.

Responsibilities:
  • Perform a wide range of accounting and administrative duties to support the accounting department, including general ledger maintenance, account reconciliations, and financial statement preparation.
  • Prepare periodic balance sheets, profit and loss statements, and other financial reports to ensure accurate and timely financial information.
  • Code invoices, set up new accounts, and reconcile accounts to ensure accurate financial records.
  • Reconcile bank accounts, verify deposits, and address inquiries from banks to ensure financial accuracy and compliance.
  • Reconcile customer accounts, manage accounts receivable collections, and verify payment of invoices associated with accounts payable.
  • Maintain fixed assets and depreciation schedules to ensure accurate financial reporting.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned by management.
Requirements:
  • Good analytical skills and the ability to problem solve.
  • Prioritize and meet deadlines.
  • Ability to work independently as well as with a team.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Advanced Excel/PowerPoint skills preferred.
  • Ability to communicate and work with HQ in Japan and other offices worldwide.
  • Knowledge of Japanese language is a plus.
Education and Experience:
  • Bachelor's / Master's in Accounting.
  • 1-2 years of experience in accounting and administrative support.
