H4 Enterprises is seeking a highly skilled Quality Control Manager to oversee janitorial operations for a government client within the State Department. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the highest level of quality and safety in all custodial and related services.
Key Responsibilities- Contractual Compliance: Interpret and execute contractual requirements, including review of task order plans and specifications.
- Scheduling and Staffing: Create schedules to maintain properly skilled staffing levels and coordinate the submittal effort with subcontractors and material suppliers.
- Reporting and Record-Keeping: Issue reports and summaries as required to the government and the company, and maintain appropriate records and statistics for administrative and regulatory purposes.
- Client Relations: Resolve clients' concerns, conduct follow-up calls, and conduct inspections for satisfactory job performance.
- Quality Control: Perform daily quality control inspections on all active projects and send weekly reports to the government on all active task orders.
- Training and Development: Assist employees with the completion and review of site-specific security/safety forms and ensure that all employees comply with all safety rules, policies, regulations, and procedures.
- Facilities Management: Assist in maintaining building and facility through janitorial activities such as sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, waste receptacle emptying, restroom cleaning, dusting, carpet cleaning, and stripping, sealing, and waxing floors.
- Experience: Possesses solid project, program, and portfolio management experience with the ability to manage and successfully oversee multiple simultaneous task orders.
- Leadership: Experience managing and leading staff with high levels of client satisfaction and excellent skills servicing clients.
- Technical Skills: Knowledge of Project Management methodologies and tools, operational experience with program/project metrics tracking and reporting, and solid knowledge of federal government contracting and budgeting processes.
- Communication: Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written, to include presentations, editing, and proofreading skills.
- Certifications: Ability to obtain and maintain a government security clearance and previous experience supporting projects/programs covered under Collective Bargaining Agreements (CBA) is desirable.
- Leadership and Supervision: Ability to display effective leadership and supervision of employees to achieve team cohesion, cooperation, communication, and results.
- Contractual Interpretation: Ability to interpret and execute contractual requirements.
- Training and Development: Ability to train new employees on work-related equipment and procedures.
- Communication: Must be able to effectively communicate orally and in writing with a strong proficiency with MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
- Attention to Detail: Must exhibit strong attention to detail and have the capacity to take direction from supervisors.
- Education: High School Diploma or equivalent; Post High School Training or Degree preferred.
- Experience: 5 years of experience working in the capacity as a custodial or janitorial supervisor, with experience working in government or large business operations required.
- Certifications: Valid driver's license, CPR/First Aide certification highly desired, and OSHA 30 highly desired.
