About the Role

The Quality Manager is a key member of the Alutiiq team, responsible for ensuring the HMX-1 facility's physical assets are maintained and optimized to support smooth operations. This role requires a strong understanding of quality control principles, practices, and standards applicable to base operations support services.

Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain an effective quality control program to ensure services are performed in accordance with the Performance Work Statement (PWS), applicable laws, regulations, and best commercial practices.
  • Conduct regular inspections and audits of services to ensure compliance with contract specifications and standards.
  • Identify deficiencies and implement corrective actions to prevent recurrence and ensure non-recurrence of defective services.
  • Maintain comprehensive records of inspections, audits, and corrective actions.
  • Prepare and submit detailed quality control reports and presentations for project stakeholders, including recommendations for continuous improvement.
Requirements
  • Five (5) years of experience in preparing and enforcing programs on Base Operations Support Contracts that include Facilities Management, Facilities Investment, Custodial, Grounds Maintenance and Landscaping, Pest Control and Pavement Clearance.
  • Five (5) years of experience in preparing and enforcing safety programs OR Three (3) years of experience with a Certified Safety Professional (CSP) or safety and health degree is a plus.
  • Strong understanding of quality control principles, practices, and standards applicable to base operations support services.
  • Must be a U.S. citizen. Possession of a valid state driver's license is required. A DoD Top Secret is required, a Top Secret/Sensitive Compartmented Information (TS/SCI) clearance is desired.
