Overview
The Villages at Oak Ridge seeks a seasoned Nursing Department Leader to spearhead our patient care services. This dynamic role requires strategic vision, exceptional leadership skills, and a passion for delivering world-class care in a long-term care setting.

Salary Information
We offer a competitive annual salary of $110,000 to experienced Directors of Nursing. Additionally, you'll be eligible for a guaranteed retention bonus of $10,000, paid out twice a year, as well as an annual performance-based bonus.

Job Description
As a Director of Nursing, you will lead our Nursing Services Department, ensuring high-quality care is delivered in accordance with current federal, state, and local guidelines. Your responsibilities will include coordinating nursing services, participating in resident admission processes, and implementing onboarding programs for new nurses. You will also monitor medication distribution, perform daily rounds, and ensure weekend coverage and on-call duties are adequately addressed.

Required Skills and Qualifications
To succeed in this role, you must have a Nursing Degree from an accredited college or university, a current state Registered Nurse license, and valid CPR certification. Prior management experience in long-term healthcare as a Director of Nursing is essential, along with strong critical thinking, communication, team building, and leadership skills.
