Job Description

As a key member of our produce team, the Team Leader - Produce Department plays a vital role in driving sales, ensuring excellent customer service, and maintaining a positive store environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and Execute Department Strategies to drive sales growth, improve customer satisfaction, and increase team member engagement.
  • Lead and Develop Team Members to achieve exceptional performance, provide coaching and feedback, and foster a positive team culture.
  • Collaborate with Cross-Functional Teams to achieve business goals, share best practices, and drive continuous improvement.
  • Manage and Analyze Sales Data to inform business decisions, identify trends, and optimize sales strategies.
  • Maintain a Clean and Safe Store Environment by ensuring compliance with company standards, implementing new processes, and engaging team members in quality initiatives.
  • Represent the Company in a professional and courteous manner, embodying the values of Whole Foods Market and providing exceptional customer service.
Requirements and Qualifications
  • High School Diploma or Equivalent required; relevant experience in retail or food service preferred.
  • Proven Leadership and Team Management experience, with a track record of driving results, developing talent, and fostering a positive team culture.
  • Excellent Communication and Interpersonal Skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with team members, customers, and external partners.
  • Strong Analytical and Problem-Solving Skills, with the ability to analyze sales data, identify trends, and develop effective solutions.
