The University of Missouri School of Medicine and MU Health Care seek a visionary leader to serve as the Vice Chair of the Department of Radiology. This is an exceptional opportunity to lead our well-established Department, its innovative clinical programs, and faculty into the future.
About the DepartmentThe Department of Radiology is the academic and clinical center for training and clinical treatment at MU School of Medicine. As Vice Chair, you will play a key role in developing a compelling vision for clinical services within the Department that focuses on growth and aligns with MU's education, research, and clinical care missions.
Key Responsibilities- Lead the Department of Radiology, the academic home of all SOM/MUHC
- Foster collaboration and engagement across research, teaching, and clinical missions
- Develop state-of-the-art services and research activities
- Align resources with radiologic services across the health system
We seek a strong leader in radiology with a powerful combination of vision, energy, and leadership skills. You must have a passion for developing high-quality radiological services and a strong business sense. Additionally, you should be board-certified in Radiology and have significant experience in at least two areas of our three-fold mission: clinical care, education, and research.
What We OfferThe new Vice Chair will receive strong support and mentorship during their transition into this leadership role. They will lead a dynamic department across various divisions and foster new interdisciplinary initiatives designed to engage multiple disciplines throughout the University, region, and nationally.
Compensation PackageThe estimated salary for this position is $225,000 per year, plus additional benefits and incentives. The University of Missouri offers a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, and vision insurance, retirement savings plans, and paid time off.
