The State of North Carolina is seeking a highly skilled Forensic Psychologist Senior to join its team. This challenging role involves conducting pretrial forensic evaluations, including assessments of capacity to proceed, risk assessments, and specialized evaluations. The successful candidate will have extensive knowledge of psychological testing, psychopathology, and diagnosis.

As a Forensic Psychologist Senior, you will be responsible for evaluating patients, consulting with attorneys, and testifying in court about your findings. You will also have the opportunity to work in a state-of-the-art psychiatric hospital located in a beautiful rural area of North Carolina.

This role offers an excellent salary of $100,000 - $160,000 annually, depending on experience. In addition, the State of North Carolina provides a comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance options, retirement plans, and paid vacation and sick leave.

To qualify for this position, applicants must possess a doctoral degree in psychology and be licensed to practice in North Carolina. They must also have two years of professional experience in forensic psychology, including one year of postdoctoral experience. Additionally, they must have advanced knowledge of psychological testing, psychopathology, and diagnosis.
