**Job Title:** Academically Gifted Specialist for North Carolina Schools
We are seeking an experienced and passionate Academically Gifted Specialist to join our team in North Carolina. This is a part-time position that will work closely with middle and high school educators, administrators, and students to identify and provide services for advanced learners and gifted students.
**Salary:** The estimated salary for this position is $55,000 - $65,000 per year, based on the North Carolina Teacher's Salary Schedule.
**Job Description:
Responsibilities:- Develop and implement strategies to identify and serve gifted and advanced learners
- Collaborate with school counselors, teachers, and administrators to develop educational plans for gifted students
- Administer assessments associated with gifted education and advanced learning courses
- Design and deliver professional development for educators and administrators on gifted education
- Coordinate district and school-level Advanced Placement and International Baccalaureate initiatives
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Education or related field
- North Carolina Teacher license required
- AIG certification required
- Experience teaching middle and/or high school preferred
