Clinical Forensic Psychologist Senior Position in North Carolina

At the State of North Carolina, we are seeking an experienced Clinical Forensic Psychologist Senior to join our team. This role requires a strong background in forensic psychology, with expertise in conducting assessments and evaluations, as well as providing consultation and education to treatment teams.
About the RoleThis is a full-time position based in Burke County, North Carolina. The successful candidate will work closely with various clinical departments to develop resources and training for Broughton Hospital's Capacity Restoration Program. They will also conduct forensic evaluations, write reports, and testify as an expert witness.
Required Skills and QualificationsTo be considered for this role, you must have:
- A Doctoral degree in Psychology
- Two years of professional psychological experience, including at least one year of post-doctoral experience
- Licensure as a Licensed Psychologist (LP) in North Carolina under the provisions specified by the Psychology Practice Act
- Experience conducting psychological assessments, such as cognitive and personality assessments
- Experience providing clinical treatment and interventions, as well as clinical supervision to staff psychologists and trainees
We offer a competitive salary range of $77,072 - $127,169 per year, depending on qualifications and experience. Additionally, eligible employees receive benefits that include employee health insurance options, standard and supplemental retirement plans, NC Flex, paid vacation, sick, and community service leave, and paid parental leave.
