Cardiology Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner

We are seeking a highly skilled Cardiology Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner to join our team at Hartford Healthcare (HHC). As a key member of our cardiology department, you will have the opportunity to work with diverse patient populations, including those with myocardial infarction (NSTEMI/STEMI), arrhythmias, heart failure, and various subspecialty cases.
Key Responsibilities- Provide comprehensive care across the continuum, collaborating closely with specialty teams to optimize patient outcomes.
- Develop and implement treatment plans for patients with complex cardiovascular conditions.
- Conduct routine physical examinations and formulate medical, educational, and psychosocial plans to treat patients.
- Consult with physicians and care team members to develop plans for further evaluation of health needs.
- Provide appropriate treatment for problems within the scope of the provider's practice as designated by protocols and identifies problems outside of their scope of practice and refers appropriately to physician.
- Unrestricted State of Connecticut Medical License (or eligible)
- Certified or board-eligible Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner
- New grads welcome to apply
- 1+ years' experience in a cardiology setting
