About the Role

Hartford Healthcare (HHC) is seeking a highly skilled Cardiology Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner to join our team. As a key member of our cardiology department, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the development of our cardiology services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide comprehensive care to patients with a range of cardiology conditions, including myocardial infarction, arrhythmias, and heart failure.
  • Collaborate with specialty teams to optimize patient outcomes and develop effective treatment plans.
  • Conduct routine physical examinations and formulate medical, educational, and psychosocial plans to treat patients.
  • Develop plans for further evaluation of health needs, including referrals to other health team members or specialists.
  • Provide appropriate treatment for problems within the scope of the provider's practice, as designated by protocols, and identify problems outside of their scope of practice and refer appropriately to physician.
Requirements
  • Unrestricted State of Connecticut Medical License (or eligible)
  • Certified or board-eligible Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner
  • New grads welcome to apply

  • 1+ years' experience in a cardiology setting
