Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner

Hartford Healthcare (HHC) is seeking a highly skilled Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner to join our esteemed Cardiology Critical Care team.
The successful candidate will provide exceptional, patient-centered care to critically ill patients admitted to the Cardiac Intensive Care Unit and/or Cardiac Step-Down Unit. Our patient populations include those requiring Therapeutic Hypothermia, STEMI, TAVR, VAD, ECMO, and other cardiogenic shock therapies.
As a critical care provider, you will support patients across the care continuum and work collaboratively with specialty teams to deliver holistic and evidence-based care.
Key Responsibilities- Provide routine physical examinations and formulate medical, educational, and psychosocial plans to treat patients.
- Develop plans for further evaluation of health needs, including referrals to other health team members or specialists.
- Provide appropriate treatment for problems within the scope of the provider's practice, as designated by protocols, and identify problems outside of their scope of practice and refer appropriately to physician.
