Election Research and Experimentation Assistant

Join the League of Conservation Voters Education Fund (LCVEF) as an Election Research and Experimentation Intern and contribute to our mission to protect and advocate for the environment.
About the RoleWe are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented individual to support our Director of Civic Engagement in researching the election landscape for odd-year elections. The successful candidate will analyze upcoming executive and legislative elections, as well as research off-cycle school board elections. They will also assist in compiling and presenting findings to inform strategies and planning for future nonpartisan civic engagement efforts.
Responsibilities- Conduct research on odd-year elections, including executive, legislative, and school board elections held off-cycle.
- Identify key trends in voter turnout, nonpartisan civic engagement efforts, and electoral patterns.
- Track important deadlines, candidate filings, and legislative developments related to these elections.
- Analyze nonpartisan civic engagement opportunities in target states and localities.
- Provide data and insights to inform planning for nonpartisan voter outreach and engagement initiatives.
- Collaborate with team members to support the development of nonpartisan civic engagement strategies based on research findings.
- Identify and assess potential local partners, organizations, and communities to support nonpartisan civic engagement work.
- Assist in mapping key stakeholders involved in off-cycle elections and related engagement efforts.
- Compile and organize research findings into clear, actionable reports for team members and leadership.
- Assist in preparing presentations or briefings on research findings for internal and external stakeholders.
