Public Policy Research Internship Opportunity

Gravity Research is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Public Policy Research Intern to join our team. As a Public Policy Research Intern, you will contribute to the development of our Societal and Reputational Intelligence Service, which helps Fortune 500 companies navigate complex societal issues.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct in-depth research on societal issues, including racial equity, LGBTQ+ rights, climate, and human rights.
  • Monitor media conversations and analyze data to identify trends and insights.
  • Develop custom analysis and recommendations for clients, working closely with senior leaders and analysts.
  • Collaborate with the Senior Director of New Products & Consulting and the President of National Journal Research to create analytic memos.
Requirements:
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to synthesize complex data and communicate insights effectively.
  • Excellent research and writing skills, with the ability to produce high-quality deliverables under tight deadlines.
  • Experience in policy analysis, risk analysis, or a related field, with a strong understanding of the media and political environment.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
