About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Automation Engineer to join our AWS Trust & Safety team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and delivering tooling to assist in the investigative and abuse response process.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and develop automation solutions to streamline our investigative processes
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate automation with existing systems
  • Develop and maintain high-quality automation code to ensure reliability and scalability
  • Participate in on-call rotations to ensure 24/7 support
  • Contribute to the design and development of new automation tools and features

Requirements
  • 2+ years of professional software development experience
  • Experience with programming languages such as Python, Ruby, or Golang
  • Knowledge of database systems and SQL
  • Experience with Linux/Unix
Preferred Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent
  • Experience building services using AWS products
  • Experience designing or architecting new and existing systems
