Navion Senior Solutions is currently seeking a Memory Care Coordinator (Med Tech or LPN) to enhance our dedicated team. This role is pivotal in overseeing, planning, and providing support for all staffing and service requirements within our memory care unit.

This is a Full-Time Position.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with the Resident Care Coordinator to recruit and onboard memory care personnel.
  • Lead and manage the memory care team effectively.
  • Facilitate orientation, monitor progress, and reinforce training for memory care staff.
  • Assist in the implementation of state regulations alongside the Resident Care Coordinator and Executive Director.
  • Ensure timely completion of all required documentation as per Navion and state guidelines.
  • Participate as a member of the management team, which includes manager on duty responsibilities, community representation, and involvement in staff meetings and marketing events.
  • Support the creation of a care team and living environment that aligns with our Memory Care philosophy.
  • Design and coordinate ongoing person-centered activities and life skills programs.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience and knowledge of relevant diagnoses.
  • Familiarity with senior resources and related agencies.
  • Understanding of the social, psychological, and recreational needs of residents with Alzheimer's and memory impairments.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality in accordance with HIPAA regulations.
  • Consistently pleasant, friendly, and helpful, ensuring timely and appropriate service.
  • Genuine passion for working with seniors.
  • Ability to maintain a positive demeanor at all times.
  • Professional appearance and conduct.
  • Must be at least 21 years of age.
  • Preferred experience or training in a similar environment.
  • General understanding and concern for the needs of seniors.
  • Experience with Alzheimer's and memory-impaired residents is highly valued.
  • Capability to work in a supportive environment conducive to resident care.
  • Strong team management skills and ability to foster a collaborative environment.
