Key Responsibilities
- Assist residents with daily living activities, including bathing, dressing, and grooming.
- Prepare residents for meals, snacks, and recreational activities.
- Support residents during dining experiences.
- Respond promptly to resident emergency calls.
- Document any changes in resident health status.
- Communicate effectively with residents and their families.
- Maintain necessary documentation in accordance with regulations.
- Provide transportation assistance to residents as required.
Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- High School diploma or GED is preferred.
- CNA certification is preferred or willingness to pursue PCA training.
- Possess a positive attitude and a genuine passion for serving seniors.
- Previous experience working with seniors is advantageous.
- Strong communication and organizational abilities.
- Ability to make sound decisions prioritizing residents' best interests.
