Key Responsibilities- Staff Management: Supervise and manage the nursing staff, providing guidance and support to ensure the delivery of excellent patient care.
- Staff Development: Assist in the development and implementation of training programs to enhance the skills and knowledge of nursing staff.
- Patient Care: Provide direct patient care in accordance with established plans and policies.
- Compliance: Ensure compliance with resident record documentation requirements and monitor the accuracy of medical records.
- Staffing: Coordinate staffing schedules to ensure adequate coverage and manage staffing needs to meet the demands of the unit.
- Quality Improvement: Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and services.
- Education: Current, unencumbered, active state license to practice as an RN.
- Experience: Minimum 3 years of nursing experience, preferably in a setting serving the same age/type of resident population served by this facility. Minimum 1 year of experience in nursing administration.
- Skills: Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients, families, and staff.
