Qualifications and Requirements

Educational Background:

  • Bachelor of Science in Nursing or enrollment in a BSN program with completion within five years of hire.
  • Exemptions may apply based on experience and departmental needs.

Preferred Education: Master's degree in Nursing.

Licensure and Certifications:

  • Current licensure as a registered nurse in North Carolina; eNLC license may be applicable.
  • BLS Healthcare Provider certification required.
  • Preferred: National certification in specialty area.

Experience:

  • Minimum of one year of nursing experience in a hospital setting.
  • Basic Cardiac Life Support certification must be obtained within the first week of employment.
