Job Overview

We are seeking a seasoned Sales Manager to lead our sales team and drive business growth in the corrugated packaging industry. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in sales and a deep understanding of the POP packaging market.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement effective sales strategies to drive sales growth in the assigned area or product line.
  • Lead a nationwide sales team to achieve sales targets and establish productive relationships with key personnel in assigned customer accounts.
  • Negotiate and close agreements with large customers, monitor and analyze performance metrics, and suggest improvements.
  • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual sales forecasts, stay up-to-date with new product launches, and ensure sales team members are on board.
  • Work closely with the marketing department to develop and execute point of purchase displays and strategies.
  • Manage and oversee the daily operations of the sales department.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or relevant field.
  • A minimum of 5 years' experience in a sales management role, preferably within the Corrugated Packaging industry.
  • Proven experience managing a high-performing sales team, ability to lead and motivate team members to exceed sales targets.
  • Strong understanding of customer and market dynamics and requirements, demonstrated ability to communicate, present, and influence credibly and effectively at all levels of the organization.
  • Proven ability to drive the sales process from plan to close, excellent listening, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Strong proficiency in managing point of purchase displays, proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Strong business acumen with a strategic ability, excellent mentoring, coaching, and people management skills.
  • Ability to travel as needed.
