Job Title: Sales Director
Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Sales Director to join our team at Aloft Arundel Mills BWI Airport. As a Sales Director, you will be responsible for creating and implementing a sales and marketing strategy that drives revenue growth and exceeds revenue targets.
Key Responsibilities:
- Attend industry tradeshows and conferences to represent the hotel and identify business leads.
- Analyze local market trends and competitor activity to inform sales strategies.
- Plan and compile the department budget in accordance with the hotel's overall sales objectives.
- Solicit new and existing accounts to meet and exceed revenue targets through outside sales calls, on-site visits, and sales tours.
- Develop and maintain connections with important group and catering accounts to maintain and expand market share.
Requirements:
- Superior communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Prior experience working in the hospitality sector.
- 3+ years of experience in sales management or a leadership role in the sales department, preferably in hospitality.
- High school diploma or GED, and a bachelor's degree in business or a related field preferred.
- Ability to stay organized and manage time effectively.
