Position Overview

We are thrilled to announce an opportunity for a Retail Operations Leader to guide our outstanding team. In this pivotal role, you will be accountable for executing and refining processes to ensure the store achieves its financial objectives and enhances customer satisfaction while overseeing the recruitment for the store team. This position is crucial and highly visible, collaborating regularly with our headquarters team as we expand our presence.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Enhance store performance by applying established procedures and innovating new strategies to meet financial goals and customer satisfaction metrics.
  • Act as a true business proprietor: contribute ideas that seamlessly integrate e-commerce initiatives and deliver outstanding in-store experiences; monitor inventory levels, sales patterns, and promotional effectiveness.
  • Embody and communicate our values and philosophy to customers and team members, with a strong focus on cultivating an inclusive workplace culture.
  • Develop a motivated and effective team through recruitment, onboarding, and continuous training and development, including conducting bi-annual performance evaluations.
  • Oversee daily scheduling and payroll for the entire store team.
  • Collaborate with our Creative team to implement the visual merchandising strategy and vision for the store, ensuring our products are displayed in an inspiring and brand-consistent manner.
  • Engage in the planning and execution of in-store events and activations.
  • Serve as a liaison between our customers, store personnel, and headquarters, sharing customer insights and innovative ideas for our brand.
Qualifications:
  • 5+ years of leadership experience in retail environments, including skills in interviewing, recruiting, training, and coaching.
  • Experience managing both customer-facing and operational aspects of the business.
  • A friendly, positive demeanor with a genuine enthusiasm for our brand and its story.
  • Knowledge and/or passion for interior design and assisting customers in styling their homes.
  • Flexibility to work a varied schedule, including evenings, holidays, and weekends.
Compensation & Benefits

We aim to provide a competitive total compensation package based on market data, considering our company size, stage, industry, and location. The base salary for this position is $85K.

Additionally, you will have the chance to participate in a quarterly bonus program with a target percentage based on your role.

Beyond base salary and bonuses, we significantly contribute to health benefits, offer a financial stipend for fertility-related expenses, provide a 401K with a 4% Safe Harbor Match, commuter benefits, and a quarterly product allowance.

We also offer 14 weeks of fully paid parental leave for all new parents and a one-month paid sabbatical after five years of service.
