About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced communications professional to join our team at Blue Origin. As a key member of our internal communications team, you will play a critical role in shaping the company's narrative and ensuring that our employees are informed and engaged.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement a comprehensive internal communications strategy that aligns with the company's goals and objectives
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to create engaging content and communications materials
  • Manage and maintain internal communications platforms and channels to ensure timely and effective information sharing
  • Work with business unit and functional leaders to understand their program objectives and key activities, and advise on internal communications that support the overall communications strategy
  • Monitor trends, analyze and benchmark performance metrics, and generate recommendations to evaluate and accelerate communication effectiveness
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in journalism, communications, or related field
  • 5+ years of relevant communications experience
  • Expert-level writing and editing skills, with the ability to distill complex concepts into clear messages for both technical and non-technical readers
  • Ability to interact effectively with all levels of the organization, and to work independently across multiple workstreams
  • Content strategy and content development experience, with a focus on creating engaging and effective communications materials
  • Ability to multitask, prioritize, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with a variety of digital platforms and communication mediums, such as podcasts, video production, and multi-media event planning
  • Understanding and application of change management practices for maximum effectiveness
What We Offer

Blue Origin offers a competitive compensation package, including a base salary range of $100,800.00-$141,120.00, depending on location. We also offer a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, vision, basic and supplemental life insurance, paid parental leave, short and long-term disability, 401(k) with a company match of up to 5%, and an Education Support Program.
