About the Role

At Blue Origin, we're working to develop reusable, safe, and low-cost space vehicles and systems within a culture of safety, collaboration, and inclusion. We're seeking a highly skilled and motivated individual to join our Operations team as a General Helper.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist in driving closures of work orders to get deliverables to the customer.
  • Help with Continuous Improvement projects for area safety and efficiency.
  • Perform routine functions such as daily clean-up of work areas, support 5S activities, and eliminate FOD.
  • Prioritize the movement of precision cleaned parts to ensure that work centers receive the necessary components in a timely manner, thus optimizing production and workflow efficiency.
Requirements
  • High School diploma or GED.
  • Ability to work from written work instructions.
  • Work collaboratively with teams of diverse skills, disciplines, and backgrounds.
  • Communicate clearly and appropriately, in writing and person.
  • Basic computer skills such as Windows, Microsoft Office, etc.
  • Perform repetitive work, including lifting of items up to 35lbs.
  • Must be a U.S. citizen or national, U.S. permanent resident (current Green Card holder), or lawfully admitted into the U.S. as a refugee or granted asylum.
