Join our team as a Solar For All (SFA) Accounting Specialist and contribute to our mission of creating pathways out of poverty and advancing a green economy. As a key member of our finance team, you will be responsible for maintaining the financial health and resiliency of our organization.

Responsibilities

  • Process accounts payable and ensure timely payment of invoices
  • Create journal entries for lease payments
  • Maintain accurate spreadsheets
  • Communicate effectively and professionally with contract partners
  • Process all receivables including check and ACH revenue
  • Maintain the integrity of accounting records

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Business or Finance or equivalent experience
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and experience with accounting software
  • Knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)
  • Previous working experience in a nonprofit organization
