Job SummaryWe are seeking a Senior Sales Account Executive to join our Public Sector team. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for directly prospecting, generating pipeline, and accurately forecasting sales to meet quarterly targets.
Key Responsibilities- Prospect, generate pipeline, and forecast sales to meet quarterly targets
- Participate in customer and prospect meetings to define a strong business case
- Partner with Solution Engineering, Customer Success, and other cross-functional teams to drive success and prioritize resource allocation
- Identify product and technology gaps with customers and present a point of view to Salesforce's Product and Leadership Teams
- Execute core public sector business objectives and FY24 Core Public Sector GTM tenets
- 7+ years of sales experience within a Public Sector Enterprise SaaS organization
- Proven understanding of Public Sector (specifically State & Local) Enterprise SaaS applications and collaboration technology
- Proven track record in the creation, management, and capture of large public sector technology procurements
- Strong professional network and understanding of how state and local organizations operate
- Ability to grow business in a strategic manner, including demand generation
- Excellent writing, discovery, and presentation skills
- History of thriving in a rapidly-changing and matrixed environment
- Passion for increasing customer happiness and deepening customer relationships
