Position Overview:
As a key member of our team, you will act as a liaison for clients, ensuring that all group requirements are communicated effectively to the relevant departments within the conference center. Your responsibilities will include:
- Timely distribution of Banquet Event Orders (BEOs) to appropriate departments.
- On-site client contact during events to ensure seamless execution.
- Production of BEOs and convention resumes while maintaining meticulous records.
- Verification of space requirements and meeting room setups with clients.
- Management of special arrangements, food and beverage requests, and ensuring all BEOs are signed by authorized personnel.
- Finalization of programs and agendas with clients, confirming all scheduled functions prior to their start time.
- Achievement of budgeted sales while adhering to financial guidelines.
- Collaboration with departments to ensure quality service and enhance guest satisfaction.
Qualifications:
A Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent university program certificate along with one to two years of relevant experience, or a suitable combination of education and experience. Candidates should possess a strong background in Catering/Convention Services, Banquet Operations, Hotel Sales, or Culinary Arts. Proficiency in Word, Excel, Internet applications, and systems such as Delphi and Meeting Matrix is essential. Strong organizational, communication, and mathematical skills are required for success in this role.
Compensation:
The compensation for this position ranges from $65,000 to $75,000 annually, based on qualifications and experience.
