Trial Attorney

The selected candidate will be responsible for handling a high-volume caseload from discovery stage through trial. This will require exceptional knowledge of civil procedure, evidence, and trial procedures, as well as outstanding research abilities, written and oral advocacy skills, and the ability to independently manage a busy and time-sensitive caseload.

The position is classified as a hybrid role, meaning that the work arrangement calls for hours in the office and virtually. The selected candidate should plan to spend time working both in the Westchester office and from home as part of a hybrid work arrangement.

We offer a competitive salary range of $125,625.00-$160,000.00, as well as potential yearly incentive pay up to 16% of base salary. Responsibilities:

• Handle a high-volume caseload from discovery stage through trial
• Develop and implement effective litigation strategies
• Conduct research and analysis to support case development
• Prepare and present evidence in court
• Manage and coordinate with support staff on clerical and administrative matters related to lawsuit handling

Qualifications:

• Law degree from ABA accredited law school and excellent academic credentials
• An active license to practice law in New York and be a member in good standing with the state bar
• 1-10 years of insurance defense litigation/trial experience
• Experience working in a paperless environment
• Strong automation/technological skills for lawsuit handling and courtroom presentation
