Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Proposal Development Manager to join our team at Navitas. As a key member of our proposal development team, you will be responsible for leading all phases of developing and delivering high-quality, compelling responses to US Government solicitations for information technology services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Proposal Management: Develop and implement proposal management plans, including proposal directives, compliance matrices, and production schedules to ensure timely and effective proposal development.
  • Data Call Coordination: Coordinate with subject matter experts, writers, and teaming partners to gather and incorporate data into proposal responses.
  • Content Development: Develop and edit non-technical proposal content, including cover letters, executive summaries, team qualifications, management plans, project descriptions, resumes, win themes, and differentiators.
  • Proposal Review and Quality Assurance: Review and edit proposal drafts and final documents to ensure responsiveness, accuracy, and quality.
  • Collaboration and Communication: Collaborate with management, subject matter experts, and teaming partners to ensure effective proposal development and delivery.
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's Degree in English, Communications, Business, Marketing, or a related field.
  • Experience: 5+ years of experience in Federal Proposal Development, with a proven track record of leading complex proposals in the DoD and Federal Civilian space.
  • Skills: Excellent writing, editing, and proofreading skills, with the ability to convey complex information in a clear and concise manner. Strong proposal management and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple proposals simultaneously to meet deadlines.
  • Tools and Technologies: Expertise in O365/Microsoft Office Suite software (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint).
Preferred Qualifications
  • Formal Proposal Training/Certification: Shipley, APMP, or SMPS certification.
  • Adobe Creative Suite: Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Illustrator, Acrobat Pro).
  • Software Development Processes: Understanding of software development processes, project management practices, and agile methodologies.
