Job Summary:

The Kroger Company is seeking a skilled Front End/Assistant Department Leader to join our team. As a key member of our front end department, you will be responsible for assisting with monitoring and controlling supply expenses, managing cash control, sales, and cash items, and scheduling front end associates to provide adequate department coverage.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist with monitoring and controlling supply expenses for the department.
  • Manage cash control, sales, and cash items and records for the store.
  • Schedule front end associates to provide adequate department coverage.
  • Assist store management in preparing the store/department budget, profit and loss reviews.
  • Assist with creating and executing budgets and scheduling of labor.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of department action plans.
