Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead by example, demonstrating exceptional customer service skills and promoting a positive internal and external customer experience.
  • Promote a culture of honesty and integrity, maintaining confidentiality and adhering to company policies and procedures.
  • Act as Manager on Duty, ensuring store team performs tasks and activities in accordance with store plan and prioritizing as needed.
  • Address immediate customer service issues and provide coaching to Associates, exercising discretion regarding customer service policies to satisfy customers.
  • Maintain accurate Associate coverage in service areas for a positive customer experience and ensure Associates adhere to all operational procedures.
  • Communicate effectively with management and Associates, setting and addressing priorities and providing progress updates.
  • Provide feedback, recognition, and coaching to Associates, partnering with Management on Associate training needs to increase effectiveness.
  • Ensure adherence to all labor laws, policies, and procedures, promoting credit and loyalty programs and supporting shrink reduction goals and programs.
  • Promote safety awareness and maintain a safe environment, performing other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
  • Able to work a flexible schedule, including nights and weekends.
  • Team player, working effectively with peers and supervisors.
  • Able to respond appropriately to changes in direction or unexpected situations.
  • Knowledge of company standard software, systems, and procedures.
  • Knowledge of merchandise flow in stores.
  • Proven problem-solving skills.
  • Able to effectively coach, delegate, and follow-up on multiple people/tasks.
  • Able to act quickly under challenging circumstances.
  • Capable of multi-tasking.
  • Superior communication and organizational skills with attention to detail.
  • 1 year retail experience and 6 months leadership experience.

This position has a starting pay range of $16.70 to $17.20 per hour. Actual starting pay is determined by a number of factors, including relevant skills, qualifications, and experience.
