Job Summary

The Lighting Controls Integration Manager – Project Group is responsible for identifying, developing, and supporting all aspects of controls integration within the LEDVANCE project group. Responsibilities include working with vendors, portfolio integration, product marketing, and technical support, as well as layout and controls schedule support.

Key Responsibilities
  • Establish New Vendor Relationships: Develop and maintain relationships with lighting controls product vendors, entities, and organizations to expand the LEDVANCE portfolio.
  • Product Sourcing Requirements: Evaluate customer and specifier lighting needs to develop product sourcing requirements.
  • Control Scheme Integration: Integrate control schemes into existing and future products, providing layouts and schedules for projects.
  • Project Management: Regularly inform management of problems, issues, and status of ongoing projects.
  • Technical Support: Provide technical support, training materials, and in-person support to sales and customers.
  • Cross-Functional Team Participation: Actively participate in cross-functional teams to ascertain product and portfolio requirements.
  • Industry Committee Participation: Participate in relevant industry committees.
  • SAP Software Management: Work with SAP software for vendor and product setup and ongoing maintenance.
  • Travel and Time Management: Ability to travel to meet vendors during and outside of traditional business hours as needed, and demonstrate strong time management skills.
  • Business Acumen and Integrity: Exude the highest levels of integrity, respect, business acumen, and service.
  • Negotiation Skills: Demonstrate strength in negotiation skills with proven ability to meet set targets.
Requirements
  • Education: Minimum BS or BE required, preferably in a technical field.
  • Experience: Minimum three years controls experience and minimum five years of experience within the lighting or electrical industry.
  • Lighting and Control System Knowledge: Demonstrable lighting and control system knowledge.
  • Certifications: LC – Lighting Certified preferred or ability to sit for exam within given year and pass the exam.
  • Software Proficiency: SAP Application experience and proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
  • Planning and Organizational Skills: Effective planning/organizational skills with a demonstrated ability to set priorities, especially critical path thinking.
