POSITION SUMMARY:
The Lighting Controls Integration Manager within the Project Group is tasked with the identification, development, and facilitation of all elements related to controls integration. This role involves collaboration with vendors, portfolio integration, product marketing, and providing technical support alongside scheduling for controls.
With a robust background in lighting controls and a genuine enthusiasm for the field, you are well-organized, articulate, and adept at managing multiple projects concurrently while maintaining a positive outlook.
You exemplify leadership by assisting colleagues in their endeavors, fostering strategic partnerships to enhance project-based sales opportunities. Your role includes cultivating and maintaining relationships with lighting controls product vendors and organizations to amplify sales initiatives.
As a team player, you naturally support and coach your colleagues, driven by a desire to broaden the LEDVANCE product range.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Forge new vendor partnerships and explore business opportunities to enhance the LEDVANCE portfolio.
- Determine product sourcing needs by assessing customer and specifier lighting requirements.
- Incorporate control schemes into both existing and forthcoming products; deliver layouts and schedules for various projects.
- Keep management regularly updated on challenges, issues, and the progress of ongoing projects.
- Offer technical assistance, create training materials, and provide in-person support to sales teams and customers.
- Engage actively in cross-functional teams to identify product and portfolio necessities.
- Participate in relevant industry committees.
- Utilize SAP software for vendor and product setup and continuous maintenance.
- Willingness to travel for vendor meetings, including outside standard business hours as required.
- Exhibit strong time management capabilities.
- Demonstrate the highest standards of integrity, respect, business insight, and service.
- Showcase strong negotiation skills with a proven track record of achieving targets.
EDUCATIONAL BACKGROUND AND EXPERIENCE:
- A minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline is required.
- At least three years of experience in controls.
- A minimum of five years of experience in the lighting or electrical sector.
- Proven knowledge of lighting and control systems.
- Lighting Certified (LC) preferred or the ability to take the exam within the year and successfully pass.
- Experience with SAP applications and proficiency in Microsoft Office tools.
- Strong planning and organizational skills with the ability to prioritize effectively, particularly in critical path scenarios.
ADDITIONAL NOTES:
- This role requires three in-office days per week.
- This position does not offer relocation assistance.
- This role is not eligible for work sponsorship.
- This position qualifies for the LEDVANCE employee referral program.
