Rapoport's Restaurant Group, Inc. is actively seeking talented Bartenders for our esteemed establishment, known for its vibrant atmosphere and exceptional service.

As a Bartender, you will play a crucial role in enhancing the dining experience for our guests. Your responsibilities will include:
  • Successfully passing the Responsible Service of Alcohol Test with a score of 90% or higher.
  • Providing a warm welcome to each guest within 30 seconds of their arrival.
  • Utilizing clear and enthusiastic communication to engage with guests, ensuring they feel valued.
  • Maintaining cleanliness and organization in all areas of the bar and dining space.
  • Expertly mixing, garnishing, and serving a variety of beverages according to established recipes.
  • Accurately processing drink orders and handling cash transactions.
  • Arranging bottles and glassware to create an appealing display.
  • Ensuring all glassware is washed and sanitized properly.
  • Being proactive in offering assistance to guests.
  • Keeping track of drink counts for each guest.
  • Maintaining current bar tabs in front of guests at all times.
  • Anticipating guest needs and following the half-full rule when offering refills.
  • Learning guests' names and preferences to create a personalized experience.
  • Ensuring responsible service of alcohol and seeking management assistance when necessary.
  • Performing additional duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications:
  • Ability to stand and walk for the duration of the shift.
  • Capability to reach, bend, lift, carry, and remain stationary for extended periods.
  • Physical ability to lift up to 35 lbs.
  • Must meet the legal age requirement to serve alcohol.
  • Basic skills in mathematics, reading, and computer usage.
  • Proficiency in handling cash and providing accurate change.
  • Familiarity with beer, wine, spirits, and standard drink recipes.
  • Strong multitasking, communication, and organizational skills.
  • Knowledge of food and beverage specifications.
  • Understanding of workplace safety protocols.
  • Required licenses and certifications for the position.
  • State health and/or alcohol compliance card.
Work Environment:
The role of a Bartender is both physically and mentally demanding, requiring the ability to work under pressure while providing excellent service. The work environment may include moderate to loud noise levels, and bartenders should be prepared for flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
