A day in the life...

As a Mixologist, your role will involve crafting and mixing beverages for guests in a friendly, courteous, and timely manner, adhering to established standards. You will also promote and enhance drink offerings and specials.

To excel in the Mixologist position, you...
  • Maintain a warm and welcoming demeanor at all times.
  • Set up the bar in accordance with hotel standards and ensure prompt and efficient service to guests.
  • Prepare beverages and cocktails following the hotel's mixing and presentation guidelines.
  • Serve guests with all beverage needs in a friendly, courteous, and professional manner.
  • Break down the bar after events, storing liquor, supplies, and equipment according to hotel standards.
  • Adhere to all state liquor regulations.
  • Be knowledgeable about hotel services and facilities.
  • Comply with all hotel policies and safety protocols.
  • Follow established procedures in serving alcohol responsibly to prevent issues with intoxicated guests.
  • Address guests' concerns, complaints, and incidents effectively.
  • Be familiar with all fire exit locations and fire extinguisher placements and know how to operate them.
  • Ensure cleanliness and organization of the bar and service areas during service.

Compensation

$8.98 - $12 per hour plus tips

Requirements
  • Preferred one year of bartending experience.
  • Must be able to lift up to 20 pounds.
  • Ability to stand and walk for the duration of the shift, up to 8 hours.
  • Excellent guest service skills.
  • Strong attention to detail is essential.
  • Availability for flexible shifts, including weekends and holidays.
  • Food Handler Certification is required.
