Position Summary:

Under the supervision of the Restaurant Managers, the Lead Mixologist will play a crucial role in ensuring the seamless delivery of beverage services. This position involves collaborating with management to oversee the entire beverage operation, from ordering to service execution, while upholding the highest standards of quality and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Foster a supportive and collaborative team environment.
  • Deliver exceptional service to guests, ensuring their needs are met promptly.
  • Maintain a welcoming atmosphere by greeting all guests with warmth.
  • Prepare and serve beverages efficiently and courteously.
  • Adhere to local and state regulations regarding alcohol service.
  • Manage cash handling and inventory control procedures effectively.
  • Provide guests with accurate information about the venue and its offerings.
  • Anticipate the needs of guests and team members with a proactive approach.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations at all times.
  • Assist in training and mentoring bartenders and bar backs.
Lead Mixologist Specific Duties:
  • Maintain optimal inventory levels and communicate ordering needs.
  • Stay informed about market trends to enhance beverage offerings.
  • Coordinate with management on the ordering of fresh produce and bar supplies.
  • Oversee the quality of garnishes and ensure proper usage.
  • Ensure all bar tools are maintained and used correctly.
  • Prepare pre-batched cocktails to meet business demands.
  • Keep mixers and non-perishable items stocked and fresh.
  • Assist in planning and executing special events related to beverage service.
General Responsibilities:
  • Communicate effectively with team members and management.
  • Remain composed during busy periods and emergencies.
  • Make informed decisions based on experience and judgment.
Compliance and Safety:

Ensure adherence to all operational policies, including health and safety, food hygiene, and liquor licensing.

Qualifications:
  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • 1-2 years of experience in a customer-facing role, preferably in a hospitality setting.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and a passion for hospitality.
  • Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent communication skills in English.
