About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused individual to join our team as a Sales and Service Representative. As a key member of our sales floor team, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional customer experiences, driving sales growth, and maintaining a high level of product knowledge.

Key Responsibilities

  • Customer Engagement
    • Provide personalized service to customers, responding to their needs and preferences
    • Engage with customers to understand their project requirements and offer relevant product recommendations
    • Ensure a seamless shopping experience, from product selection to checkout
  • Sales and Merchandising
    • Drive sales growth through effective product knowledge, suggestive selling, and visual merchandising
    • Stay up-to-date on product information, including features, benefits, and promotions
    • Maintain a high level of product knowledge to provide expert advice to customers
  • Store Operations
    • Contribute to a positive and productive store environment, adhering to company policies and procedures
    • Participate in visual merchandising, including product placement, signage, and display maintenance
    • Assist with receiving, stocking, and maintaining a clean and organized sales floor

Requirements

  • Education
    • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Experience
    • No prior experience required, but a customer-centric background is preferred
  • Skills
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
    • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities
    • Strong product knowledge and merchandising skills
    • Ability to lift up to 49 pounds and stand for long periods
