We are seeking a highly skilled Clinical Laboratory Manager to join our team at Pennsylvania Medicine. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a dynamic and innovative environment, leading our Cytopathology Department to excellence.

**About the Role:**
As a Clinical Laboratory Manager, you will be responsible for managing the daily technical and administrative functions of our laboratory section. You will ensure compliance with institutional and laboratory policies and procedures, evaluate and recommend technical methods based on clinical and financial parameters, and manage personnel and fiscal affairs. Your expertise will drive the strategic direction of our section, ensuring that we remain supportive of advances in clinical laboratory testing systems.

**Responsibilities:**
1. Develop and implement standard operating procedures
2. Monitor pre-analytical, analytical, and post-analytical phases of test systems
3. Ensure quality control and quality improvement programs are in place
4. Oversee staff performance and provide guidance on test system problems
5. Collaborate with clinicians and researchers on lab service support for special projects and research protocols
6. Manage inventory and reagent utilization analysis
7. Control and oversee purchasing of supplies

**Requirements:**
1. CT (ASCP) or equivalent certification required
2. Associate's degree in biological and chemical sciences or related healthcare field required; Bachelor's degree preferred
3. 5+ years of experience managing high-volume clinical labs preferred

**Salary Range:** $120,000 - $150,000 per year
