At UBEO Inc, we are seeking a highly experienced and skilled Vice President of Vendor Management and Operations to join our team in Austin, TX. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for leading our vendor relationships, including product selection and pricing, and providing leadership and direction to our purchasing and supply chain functions nationally.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage day-to-day vendor partnerships and key executive relationships
  • Negotiate and optimize vendor contracts to provide UBEO with best contractual KPIs and most buying power
  • Lead product strategy initiatives, including developing and maintaining a best-in-class product list for the entire company
  • Manage all vendor websites and portals to ensure compliance and proper alignment of resources
  • Coordinate communication of product updates to the field
  • Develop purchasing and logistics standards nationally
  • Build and manage tools to assist in inventory planning
  • Develop controls and consistency around field pricing nationally
  • Acquisition due diligence relative to vendor contracts and pricing synergies
  • Integrate and optimize vendor partnerships with acquired companies
  • Develop and implement reproducible processes and reporting standards that increase visibility of key operating metrics in the company, further allowing more timely and effective management decisions and improving asset management ratios
  • Complete necessary reports and other projects as required
  • Maintain a positive attitude and set an example of professionalism in a demanding, fast-paced business environment

Requirements:

  • Minimum 20+ years of industry experience
  • Proficient in all MS Office products, including Word, Excel, Visio, and PowerPoint
  • Advanced proficiency in Excel, with the ability to develop and create complex reports
  • CRM and ERP reporting experience
  • Strong interpersonal and customer service skills
  • Ability to answer a high volume of calls and emails daily
  • Must have strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of the organization
  • Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
  • Must be a self-motivated individual with a high level of professionalism and accountability
  • Must have strong time-management and organizational skills
