Position Overview

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma; Some College preferred
  • Certification in Imperva or other Database Activity Monitoring solutions*
  • Experience in managing, deploying, and designing Imperva or similar Database Activity Monitoring solutions
  • Minimum of 3 years in a technical cybersecurity role

Experience Requirements

  • At least 3 years of technical experience in cybersecurity
  • Familiarity with one or more database systems such as:

Oracle, SQL Server, MySQL, PostgreSQL, Cassandra, MongoDB, Redis

  • Proficient in data analysis and manipulation using tools like Microsoft Excel
  • 3+ years of scripting experience in Bash or PowerShell
  • Experience as a Systems Administrator/Engineer in a large-scale enterprise environment
  • Expertise in UNIX troubleshooting
  • Proficient with Linux/Unix command line utilities
  • Understanding of PKI and experience with SSL certificate management
  • Experience in reporting using tools like Splunk, Imperva Sonar, and Microsoft Excel
  • Knowledge of Compliance Regulations (SOX, PCI, CPNI, USGCPI, CMMS, etc.)
  • Experience in incident response for security breaches
  • Availability for 24/7 support as part of a rotating team
  • Change management experience (ITIL)
  • Familiarity with scripting languages such as PowerShell, Ruby, Shell
  • Application support experience (end-user support, troubleshooting)
  • Experience with JIRA and Confluence for project tracking
  • Experience deploying systems via VMware vRA

Preferred Qualifications

  • Certifications such as CompTIA Security +, CISM, or CISSP
  • Project Management experience from a developer, Systems Administrator, or DBA perspective

Essential Skills

  • Strong presentation skills with experience addressing various audience sizes
  • Expertise in creating reports and dashboards using tools like Grafana, PowerBI, or SharePoint
  • Experience in database design and programming for applications utilizing both relational and non-relational databases
  • Experience with cloud-based solutions, particularly in Application Security
  • Familiarity with infrastructure as code technologies such as Puppet, Bolt, Chocolatey, Jenkins

Responsibilities

  • Support, manage, and implement compliance and security tools infrastructure
  • Maintain healthy tool agents across Linux and Windows operating systems
  • Collaborate with internal and external teams to achieve outstanding results
  • Manage vendor relationships effectively
  • Continuously track and report on your work using JIRA and Confluence
  • Provide regular status updates on projects and goals
  • Participate in team and company meetings
  • Provide attestations to Audit and Compliance teams
  • Participate in on-call rotation for application support
  • Conduct detailed Root Cause and Post-incident analyses
  • Document processes, designs, configurations, and lessons learned
  • Adhere to Incident and Change Management procedures
  • Complete assigned training in a timely manner
  • Identify problems and opportunities, evaluate, innovate, and automate solutions
  • Develop goals, objectives, operational metrics, service catalogs, and run books to enhance service delivery
  • Anticipate and support technology solutions for our customers effectively.
