Role Overview:
The Manager of Respiratory Care Services is responsible for supervising and managing the daily operations of the Respiratory Care Services Department, ensuring high-quality patient care under the guidance of the Department Director and Clinical Specialist.

Key Responsibilities:
1. Supervise and coordinate clinical assignments, ensuring adequate staffing and coverage.
2. Manage personnel functions, including recruitment, onboarding, training, and performance evaluations.
3. Enhance departmental protocols and improve practices related to patient care.
4. Assist in the development and implementation of departmental policies and procedures, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards.
5. Oversee departmental competency training and maintain accurate documentation.
6. Support the Blood Gas Laboratory operations in the absence of the clinical manager.
7. Ensure efficient and safe operations within the department, addressing issues as they arise.
8. Manage departmental resources, including equipment and supplies, while adhering to budgetary constraints.
9. Collaborate with the Department Director and Clinical Manager to uphold quality assurance standards and regulatory compliance.
10. Continuously seek opportunities to enhance operational efficiency and service quality.
11. Adhere to all organizational policies and relevant laws and regulations.
12. Maintain current professional knowledge and engage in ongoing education.
13. Exhibit reliable attendance and perform additional duties as needed.

Qualifications:
- Associate's Degree from an accredited Respiratory Care program.
- Minimum of three years of experience as a Respiratory Therapist in critical care settings.
- Preferred: Two years of management experience and a Bachelor's Degree.

Licensure:
- Valid New York State Respiratory Therapist License.

Work Schedule:
- Full-Time position with evening shifts.
